LegalCare Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("LegalCare", "we", "us") operates the LegalCare platform. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

• Account data: name, email, role, organization.
• Matter data: documents, messages and metadata you submit.
• Usage data: log files, device info, IP and product analytics.
• Payment data: handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store card numbers.

To operate the Service, match you with experts, process payments, provide support, comply with law and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal data.

We share data with the legal experts you engage, infrastructure subprocessors (cloud hosting, email, analytics, payments), and authorities when required by law.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to security@legalcare.app.

Subject to applicable law (including India's DPDP Act and US state privacy laws), you may access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@legalcare.app.

We retain matter data for as long as your account is active and as required to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

Data may be processed in India, the United States and other regions where our subprocessors operate, with appropriate safeguards.

We'll post changes here and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice.
